Count Basie Theatre What a beautiful venue! Being here was my first time in NJ. My fiance and I traveled here to see Ace Enders play a super small and more intimate show. Had to only be about 50+ tickets sold. The show was done by tables so we had to purchase a table of 4 for the 2 of us but it was SO worth it.

New Jersey Vietnam Veterans Memorial and Vietnam Era Museum & Educational Center The museum has limited hours, but is well worth visiting when it’s open. The wall is open 24hours a day. The museum is a wealth of information about the history of Vietnam prior to US involvement. There is also a timeline of the social events that occurred during the war, as well as letters written home from soldiers serving in Vietnam. The staff is a wealth of information. I took a tour of the grounds with a Vietnam Veteran as a guide who gave his insight and experience as a soldier in Vietnam. The tour alone is worth the visit. Seeing the names of the New Jersey residents who gave their lives in Vietnam was very moving and emotional. Very emotional, moving museum
