The Tea Shoppe–Made reservations a day in advance for high tea with my daughter and it was absolutely perfect! First you choose your tea and then it is brought to your table along with the three tiered display of tea sandwiches, sweets and scones! I absolutely loved how we weren’t rushed at all but also were able to enjoy at our own pace as the tiered samplings were brought out all together…a PERFECT experience. Sometimes tea time can drag on a bit too long or feel rushed, not the case here. My daughter and I had a wonderful time and we felt so welcomed! Going to plan another visit very soon!

Swingtime Plenty of parking; air-conditioned building with video games; there is also a batting cage. We did one of the two mini-golf courses this time; we had done the other course when we went last year. Both courses are good and fun for both kids, adults and seniors. There’s not a ton of shade, but there is some. It’s not a gimmicky themed course with elaborate colorful decorations along the trail (other than the waterfall & cave) — there are just two fairly well-designed and well-maintained courses. Even the score cards are nice (e.g., provide the par info, cardstock rather than just paper, etc.).

Covenhoven House Covenhoven House is a great place to visit to learn about local history in NJ. In addition soon they will feature the cooking skills of Early Americans and Hearth Cooking. You can sample some great tasting foods made in an open fire place. Take a walk back in History by visiting soon.
